Sunday 7th October 2012

I was up around 7am and decided to boost my confidence again by taking a recommended ferry trip over to Watsons Bay. Bro's feet were still not handling all the walking and I was bored.

I headed off to find the ferry was rather full. A few stops later and the ferry was classed as fully loaded and not able to take on any more passengers. Out the front was small standing room only, which would normally create issues for me. But I surprised myself with how well I stayed calm. From Circular Quay, I made my way to the Watsons Bay ferry. The trip was relaxing and enjoyable with plenty of photo opportunities. To me, Watsons Bay isn't really a place to go on your own unless you're a complete loner and don't enjoy the company of others. Most are better off going with friends or someone special so you can fully enjoy the view while dining on fish and chips. I didn't end up having lunch there due to the line being incredibly long and was worried I'd miss the next two ferries back. I didn't fancy being there any longer than needed - I enjoy myself more with the right company.
I caught the very next one and felt somewhat deflated.

Things picked up when I got back to Circular Quay and decided to go to the Opera House for photos seen as how it was a beautiful day and rain was forecast for most of the week.
I enjoyed my time there before buying a turkey roll for lunch and heading for the ferry back to the apartment.
