September 2012

Being that this was my first holiday since I was 16, I was stressing about getting everything absolutely perfect. Everything, right down to the time we would board transport and leave attractions, had to be planned out carefully and mapped.

Unfortunately, I hadn't stopped to think about how the stress I was giving off was going to affect my little man. He may look big and people may tend to be scared of German Shepards, but deep down he is a big emotional softee. He took on the abundance of emotions I wasn't able to deal with myself and was behaving rather strangely. It wasn't until he had obsessively licked himself raw, that we noticed the full affect.

It actually taught me to try and control my emotions more for his sake. Once the apartment was settled and I was sure we had the bond funds, things started to calm down.
That's when I was able to look forward to the days leading up to take off.
